Strategic Factory is proud to announce that its CEO, Keith Miller, has been appointed to the Maryland Economic Development Advisory Board (EDAB), a body that helps shape policy, attract investment, and support statewide economic growth. His appointment underscores Strategic Factory’s expanding leadership role in business innovation, workforce development, and community partnership.

“I’m honored to bring a real-world, growth-minded perspective to the table,” said Miller. “We have a responsibility to create an environment where businesses of all sizes can thrive—and where community impact and economic growth go hand in hand.”

Miller’s appointment was made official  May 13th 2025 by Maryland’s County Executive, Kathy Klausmeier, in recognition of his decades of experience transforming Strategic Factory from a single-person print shop into one of the Mid-Atlantic’s most influential marketing, branding, and signage powerhouses.

A Real-World Voice at the State Level

As part of EDAB, Miller will join a select group of leaders from across industries to advise state agencies and lawmakers on critical business climate issues, such as infrastructure, workforce pipeline, tourism, business incentives, and sustainable growth. With a history of building Strategic Factory into a single-point provider for marketing, print, signage, branded merchandise, and technology-driven solutions, Miller brings a boots-on-the-ground understanding of what Maryland businesses truly need to thrive.

Miller’s appointment brings the voice of real business operators—especially those outside the Fortune 500—into the conversation about Maryland’s economic future. What sets his perspective apart is his business history scaling from one employee to 150+, navigating hiring, compliance, automation, and facility expansion firsthand. He invests in sustainable energy (including solar power), automation, and AI to future-proof Maryland manufacturing. He actively works to bridge business success with community impact, supporting over 50 community organizations and business groups, and recently celebrated its 25 years in business with a region-wide day of giving to benefit local nonprofits.

A Pivotal Moment for Maryland

Keith’s appointment comes as Maryland is laser-focused on attracting and retaining new businesses in various industries, revitalizing its economy, and preparing a modern workforce for the future. Strategic Factory is proud to support these goals not just in practice but now through policy.
