Everstand, formerly known as the Board of Child Care, is a nonprofit organization with a 150-year legacy of serving children and families. Over its history, Everstand has expanded its programming and services to include residential programs, mental and behavioral health support, trauma recovery, case management, and specialized education. Recognizing that its former name no longer encapsulated the organization’s holistic mission, Everstand embarked on a rebranding journey to better reflect its present and future.

The Challenge

Rebranding a well-established nonprofit with a century-and-a-half of history posed unique challenges. Everstand needed to convey its continued commitment to enriching communities while introducing a completely new name, logo, brand colors, and tagline. Furthermore, the rebrand required updating a broad range of assets—from signage and print materials to apparel and promotional products—to ensure consistency across its expanding reach of services. The process needed to be seamless to maintain stakeholder trust, minimize disruptions to operations and uphold public confidence and donor support.

The Process & Solution

    • Company Store: This online platform is a resource for Everstand to order branded goods on demand which helps streamline the consistency of the new rebrand among employee needs.
    • Celebration Kits: Kits made for staff to uphold the internal rollout and celebration of the rebrand.

  3. Logistics and Rollout Management
    The Strategic Factory team ensured all materials were delivered on time to meet Everstand’s May 24, 2024, launch date.
